Measures of wealth disparity, income equality for econometric ysis?

I am doing a regression ysis of wealth disparity and/or income equality in Alaska. I want income equality to be the dependent variable. My problem is I am unable to find a better measure of income equality than the GINI coefficient. The GINI doesn't work for my study, because it is measured only once a decade during the US Census. Is there an equivalent that is measured annually? Thanks
