Pain in finger joint?

I have had this strange pain in my middle finger joint. It is not a constant ache, however, when I pick up something hard-like a suitcase, the hard surface of the handle comes into contact with the joint of my finger and I have a sharp pain. After that, it is pretty much sensitive for a few days. It kinda feels like a nerve is touched. It bends fine, is slightly sore on bending it but really painful when it comes into contact with hard objects e.g. poles on busses, arm of a chair, etc.. My son LOVES the TV, Help!?

He is 2 and he is VERY very active, lots of energy, loves to play outside. But, if we are not outside he wants to be watching TV. It all started with Barney, he fell in love with that show, now he likes Dora and a couple others. I don't mind turning it on in the mornings while I am feeding my 7 month old and making myself a cup of coffee. But, after that I rather him do something else. I turn off his TV in the playroom and lock the door so he can't go in there and turn it on. And we will read or do a craft. But that doesn't hold his attention for very long before he starts wining about TV again. ANy advice on some other fun activites that a 2 year old would enjoy doing inside the house, that will keep his interest. We are outside a lot during the day...but we can't always be out there because I do have a 7 month old and winter is approaching.

Difficulty of rebuilding a Holly carburetor on a 1979 Jeep CJ7?

I haven't rebuilt that particular carburetor, but I rebuilt a rochester 2 barrel carb from a 1975 pontiac. it's not very difficult, I used a cheap foil roasting pan to hold parts and clean stuff in. make sure you have a good light source, as its not fun to work in the dark. Take your time, don't rush things. If your going to install a new float, make sure you adjust it properly, you may have to bend the piece of metal that hangs the float to get it to float at the right level (should have instructions to do it). Have fun!

dont listen to her, any half way decent car you buy is going to have sky insurance now adays. So it all depends on if your planning on racing or just for an every day driver.(racing includes any mods you want to put on it) If you want it for a every day driver, its pretty nice. It is very comfortable and you will enjoy driving it. If you want it for racing or mods I would advice looking into eclipse gsx 1999. The GT is very heavy and does not have good acceleration at all. 2 months back I got a offer from a company xyz. I accepted and signed the employment contract which says employment agreement starts the day I signed the employment agreement. After 2 weeks before the file the h1b transfer petition, I decided to join a different company abc and informed xyz that I'm not willing to join xyz. They(xyz) didn't respond me for week (looks like they were waiting for something from client) and after a week now they called me and saying I have to join the company otherwise I have to reimburse the cost spent by employer as per employment agreement. I'm biologically a male, but ever since I was young I've known that I was a girl just in the wrong body. I love horror movies, but I hardly ever get freaked out or scared by them, but when I saw 1408, I was jumping through the whole thing! It's a really good, scary movie. Another scary one that freaked me out was the new version of The Omen, with Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles. That one was scary throughout the entire movie. Another spooky one would be Sleepy Hollow, with Johnny Depp, and The Haunting with Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Owen Wilson. I used to hate watching the haunting when I was little because its set in like an old haunted mansion, it's really scary. Another good one is The Shining with Jack Nicholson, it's like a horror clic, doesn't really make you jump, but is still good. Well, all of those are some of my favorite horror movies. Holsters for Females?

I'm a small female, 5' and 115 lbs. I purchased a Glock 26 for concealed carry purposes. However, I'm trying to figure out ways to carry it. I've thought about carrying it in my purse, but that doesn't seem practical. I'd rather carry it on my body. Same thing with a fanny pack, so don't suggest that (when have you ever seen a young female with a fanny pack, anyway?). It's difficult because I do wear relatively form fitting clothing. Waistband holsters are not an option... maybe guys can pull that off, but I can't. I've been looking at small of the back holsters, shoulder holsters, and ankle holsters. I want something that will be comfortable but not detectable. Someone also suggested a thigh holster for me while wearing longer skirts. However, someone else told me that thigh holsters are a media creation. Does anyone know about that? If anyone has any suggestions or advice for a female pistol carrier, I'd greatly appreciate it. Can a Damaged facial muscle be fixed?

Books use different vocabulary and also allows you to learn words while in context, so it allows you to solidify your memory of the words. Also try to pay attention to the similes and metaphors because that will allow you to describe things better. Comparisons allow people to visualize what you are saying easier, which in turn, makes you seem like a better writer.

Random videogame crashes?

i had windows xp 64 and almost every game i played (team fortress 2, left 4 dead 2, GTA4, Fallout 3, Oblivion) would always crash randomly. all of a sudden the sound would stutter really fast, like a blue screen of death, but there would be no signal to my monitor. i would just restart every time. i thought it was because xp64 is unstable sometimes, but i reformatted to windows 7 today and left 4 dead 2 still froze. now i know it's probably a hardware issue, but i'm not sure what it could be.

I've seen this done before! Some dogs get it and some don't but this is how I saw it done...First show the object to your dog, then say "pick it up", or "retrieve", then toss the object down and repeat the command, each time you get the dog to touch the object with it's mouth give a treat and praise. When the dog picks up the object say "bring it" and then keep rewarding and praising along the way. I saw a small dog pick this trick up quickly but have never got my dogs to do it. Good luck!

Will I have to find a new home for my new kitten?

Is he biting her under her neck or up between the shoulder blade area? If he is biting in the shoulder area he may just be trying to pick her up. I know he is a male and shouldn't be acting like a mother but he just might be doing that. It's not that uncommon for him to try to do that and that may also be why the kitten is acting like she is afraid. What you need to remember is your male cat could very easily hurt her in a minute if he wanted to so I don't really think he is going to. I would probably separate them when you go to work until your little girl gets bigger. Also the kitten may still have the scent of its mother and sisters/brothers on her, that would make your cat a bit confused, it's a new smell to him. I really wouldn't worry about having to get rid of your new kitten. Another sign that your cat is being territorial is if he is spraying, marking his turf. He will probably end up doing this when the female is older and in heat but if he does it now it is basically to make sure the new kitten knows who's boss. As for the hissing, it's totally normal and will probably continue on and off forever, mine still do it to each other now and then.

Alrighty so me and my bro have this cat thats been in my family for probably 4 years now and the sad fact is hes lived all this time completely away from other cat companionship. weve recently tried bringing another newborn kitten into the mix but that didnt work out well. needless to say he felt very threatened and so that stopped. Its fair to add that this cat is a predator, hes mastered the woods around our house and regularly brings us birds and other things he hunts. So the other week this old lady came to my brother and basically begged him to take these two 3 month old kittens. they are the cutest cats imaginable theyre brothers and they even act like it, they travel with eachother all the time and always play with eachother. Theyre in their prime so theyre not technically babies and can take care of themselves but were scared of leaving them with the other cat so were rotating them in and out of the house so they dont see eachother. The big cat that we already have already tried to kill one of them right off the bat when he saw him the other day so we are now really scared of what to do with these cats. The biggest thing is we dont want to get rid of them and were willing to do what it takes. But i have to ask now what can we do to psyhcologically adjust the cat to these new kittens. i know theyres some type of dog whisperer trick out there so please help if you can

I have heard some on some TV shows, they can sometimes only show about 3 seconds of a movie to avoid copyright infringement. Was a friend's mother's death preventable?

A friend of mine had a mother that he was supposed to take care of. She had dementia and ended up dying of a drug overdose since she forgot she already took her meds. I can't understand why he didn't manage her medication when she already had had problems taking them too often. I asked why he didn't take control of her meds and he said it is because she would throw a fit about it. I think that dealing with a fit is less important than someone's safety.
